Auditing a Course

If you wish to attend classes yet not complete assignments or exams you can register as an audit student.

  • the regular course fee applies
  • you will not be expected to submit assignments or exams
  • audited courses will appear on the University of Alberta transcript with a grade AU and the course will not count towards completion of a credential

When to request the change of course status to “Audit”

Requests to change an enrolment status to an Audit must be made prior to the Academic Drop Deadline (20% of the course has been completed).
