University Email Correspondence

Letter to our students (mailed in October; communicates changes to your U of A student account)

We use email to communicate important information and notices to our students.

Having registered in at least one course at Extension, you have been automatically assigned a @ualberta.ca email account. Access your email inbox to check notices about your studies. You can easily forward your ualberta.ca email to a preferred email address (see option 2 below).

All administrative communications will be sent to your @ualberta.ca email, for example:

  • registration confirmation
  • course work communication and messages from instructors
  • grade notifications (if you have set the notification function in Bear Tracks)
  • other important news and announcements about your program and classes

Is this your first time using your CCID (accessing ualberta.ca email, Bear Tracks, U of A library system)?
You must change your temporary password first »

Option 1: check your ualberta.ca mailbox regularly

Apps@UAlberta is a service that allows you to access your University e-mail from any web browser from anywhere in the world. All you need is your Campus Computing ID and password (change/reset).

Option 2: set up email forwarding
