Women’s Words Summer Writing Week is a program for women with stories: all women, in other words, both established and new writers. Work in small, interactive groups with published writers and award-winning authors. Come for a day or two, for the weekend(s), or the entire week to explore poetry, life-writing, fiction, and creative nonfiction.
After celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2013 (including the publication of a commemorative anthology), the team behind the University of Alberta’s Women’s Words writing program is taking stock of our successes to date and planning how to broaden the audience and the scope of this award-winning program.
We hope you will continue your writing throughout the year and that you will join us for some of our course offerings. Judy Schultz will be teaching Editing Your Prose the weekend of March 27/28/29, 2015.
